The Nino Manfredi Award is back on the scene in Taormina

Tribute Nastri D’Argento to Nino Manfredi on June 28, during the evening at the Teatro Antico - as always - organized with the Taormina Arte. The Tribute instituted by film journalists that it was in Taormina, birthplace Nino's wife, Erminia, had its first edition in 2009 . 

 

The recognition will go to a name chosen by the Sngci with the Manfredi family and in particular by Erminia who has enthusiastically welcomed the proposal of the Syndicate. "I admit that there was a flaw in Taormina , after the first edition, because it seemed to me that in a city so dear to me, where Nino was at home, his films, proposed by Taormina Arte review, at of the award, they were not greeted with the promotion and publicity they deserve", says Erminia Manfredi, who adds: "I am grateful to the Unio , and in particular its President, Laura Delli Colli, proposed to me to go back and convinced me to do so. Taormina has a special meaning for me and Nino from the film press had until his last days loving attention, this initiative confirms that today. "By Laura Delli Colli, on behalf of the Executive heartfelt thanks to Erminia and the Manfredi family "for having welcomed the initiative of the Union with enthusiasm and, above all, to have caught the spirit ."
