Henry Cavill, the new face of Superman / Clark Kent, will be at the Taormina Film Fest to present Man of Steel directed by Zack Snyder. The preview of the film, produced by Warner Bros, renews the "grand spectacle" of the Greek Theater to open on 15th June at the 59th edition of the Festival led by Mario Sesti,
 
Editorial Director and Tiziana Rocca, General Manager. In Italian cinemas on June 20th, Man of Steel depicts the eternal fight against the superhero from the Kryptonian. In this case, Superman will have to deal with two survivors: the villainous General Zod, Michael Shannon ("Revolutionary Road"), and Faora, played by Antje Traue.
Originally from Krypton are the biological parents of Superman's mother Lara Lor-Van, played by Ayelet Zurer ("Angels and Demons"), and the father Jor-El, portrayed by Russell Crowe.
